Text Box: TUAKAU ADULT RIDING CLUB USE OF GROUNDS’ RULES Coinciding with the Tuakau Pony Club May 2009 – April 2010 The Tuakau Pony Club have agreed to allow members of the Tuakau Adult Riding Club use of their grounds for a ground fee of $15 per rider subject to the following rules and regulations: Rules & Regulations: 1. Tuakau Harrisville By laws must be adhered to. 2. All riders ride at their own risk. 3. Ground fee is $15 per rider and must be paid to the key holder on the day of use of the grounds. 4. A log book is kept by each key holder and must be completed when paying the ground fee. 5. No dogs permitted on the grounds at any time 6. Grounds are not open to key holders during the Pony Club Rally (Every Thursday 5-9pm in the daylight saving season), if the grounds are hired out (you will be advised) or when there is a show on (you will be advised) 7. The Western Arena is out of bounds (this is the lower arena) 8. The Cross Country course is closed a few months a year due to ground conditions. You will be advised of these times and during this time are only permitted to ride in the main arena. 9. Hard Helmets and approved footwear must be worn at all times while riding. 10. If requested by a Pony Club committee member you need to state that you are a member of TARC and have paid your ground fees to the approved TARC official. 11. If there is a private lesson in the arena please keep to one side and clearly out of their way. 12. Arena and grounds to be left as they are found with gates and locks secured after use. 13.
