Text Box: 1.   All members must assist with fundraising functions a minimum of three times a year.

2.   If selected for a team members must assist with all fundraising activities that will go towards the North Island Teams Event.

3.   If selected for a team members must attend the monthly meetings and assist with costume making.

4.   It is compulsory for all riders under the age of 17 to wear hard helmets when mounted.

5.   It is compulsory for ALL riders to wear approved hard helmets whilst on rally grounds.

6.   The club recommends you wear a back protector when jumping over 90cm.

7.   The club has no objections if you wish to bring a stallion to any of our meets but you must be over the age of 17 years and have full control.        Please advise any members with mares before we ride off so they can then keep their distance.

8.   We have monthly committee meetings on the second Monday of every month in which everyone is welcome to attend.  This is to organize treks, socialize, have a BBQ etc.  This is held at the Carr Residence, 162 Woodhouse Road, Patumahoe.

9.   Our AGM is held every April in which the committee is elected - you are welcome to attend and have your say.

10.  Treks for all members are free of charge unless otherwise stated.

11.  Members are welcome to invite friends along to treks.  If the trek is on public land i.e. Forest or beach then the friend is free.  If the trek is on private property then there will be a $10 charge.

12.  Members are welcome to invite friends to attend the rallies but there is a ground fee of $10.   Non-members have a limit of two rallies per season and then must join as a member to attend more.

13.  At any point the committee’s decision is final.

14.  All fees are due on the 1st April each year.

15.  The club takes no responsibility for any items lost or stolen whilst in a meet.

16.  The club takes no responsibility for any accidents or injury that may occur to horse or rider whilst in a meet.

17.  Unless advised all members phone numbers will be listed and distributed amongst other members.  If your phone number is confidential please let us know and we will not publish it on our list.

18.  If we are to hold a fundraising show all members are welcome to compete but each one competing must provide someone to assist us on the ground - there are heaps of jobs to be done - i.e: BBQ, Entries, Stewards etc.

19.  An adult must accompany all junior riders on all rides.

20.  Tuakau Pony Club hold no responsibility to any injury, damage to gear, horse or rider, theft or lost property during the rallies at their club.

21. All final decisions or rule changes will be made by the selected committee.  Any rule changes can only be made once a special meeting has been called.

22. If the club holds an ODE as a fundraiser.  Members are not permitted to ride in this event at all.  All members are required to be ground help and we would appreciate any further help you could give us i.e. Friends/family.

23.  A maximum of two horses per member are permitted on the grounds during a rally.  One horse MUST participate in the rally for the other to be eligible to ride on the grounds.  The second horse may then school on the grounds but must be still ridden in a group with a minimum of 3 riders.
